We listened to a lot of Commodores, Sam and Dave and Wilson Pickett before developing what you hear in this kit. All the sounds from 'Brick House', 'Soul Man' and 'Mustang Sally' are truly here and ready to go.

The base samples were recorded in 615 sq. ft of space with a 42 sq. ft floating floor solely for drums. An extensive list of world-class equipment was utilized, including the Universal Audio 610 tube microphone preamp and Neumann TLM 103 condenser mic. All recordings were made in ProTools at 24bit/44.1 KHz.
